Rancho Cielo Inducts New Board Members
At Rancho Cielo’s November Board meeting, the board recognized outgoing board members Troy Boutonnet, Mike Costa, Jazmin López, Cosme Padilla, and Joanne Taylor.
New Board Members joining the board in January include Luis Alvarez (Owner of Alvarez Technology Group); Jeff Cook (CFO, Taylor Farms); Dale Ellis (Land Use Professional); Georgina Mendoza (JD, GMM Consulting), Clement Miller (COO, Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System); and Mike Zimmerman (President, Cannery Row Company).
Elected as Officers of the Rancho Cielo Board are Susan Black, Chair (Pinnacle Bank); Jesse López, Vice Chair (Bianchi, Kasavan & Pope); Mike Zimmerman, Treasurer; and Manny González (Government Administration professional).
Other board members include: Mike Avila (Avila Construction), Don Chapin (The Don Chapin Family of Companies), Janine Chicourrat (GM, Portola Hotel & Spa), Walt Duflock (VP Innovation, Western Growers Center for Innovation and Technology), Jeri Gattis (Community Volunteer), Sal Gutierrez (Principal, Western Technology Investment), Dr. Shyam Kamath (Dean, College of Business, CSUMB), Lorri Koster (retired CEO, Mann Packing), and Jorge Quezada (VP of Diversity and Inclusion, Granite Construction).
Emeritus Board Members include: Rancho Cielo Founder John Phillips, Ted Balestreri, and Chef Bert Cutino.
