Nestled along the beautiful foothills of the Salinas Valley and surrounded by peaceful meadows and booming agriculture, the Rancho Cielo Youth Campus offers an ideal venue for your business meeting or special event.
 
The Drummond Culinary Academy prides itself on meeting your catering needs, including wine and beer service. From our traditional window-lined dining room space, to our enclosed-outdoor patio and BBQ area, the range of possibilities are endless.
 
Tour our organic garden, play a round of horseshoes, hike or bike up the mountainside, toss around a basketball in the gym, or even enjoy some catch-and-release fishing in one of our ponds. Our amenities are fun and flexible for any sized group.
 

Retreat Model:

8:00 am: Continental Breakfast
8:30 am: Leadership Meeting
10:30 am: Outdoor Team Building
Noon: Lunch outdoors at BBQ area
Afternoon: meetings continue
4 pm: Meetings end, transition to fun activities and “happy hour” with wine and appetizers

Need students to work your next event?

Rancho Cielo’s Drummond Culinary Academy has enthusiastic students to fit your needs for prep, service, bussing, action stations, or plate-up. This is an opportunity for our students to get a taste of the real deal-- working for the pros in our local hospitality industry. You can be the one to make a difference in the lives of our youth. Please contact Chef Estevan Jimenez or Program Director Mark Bruszer for details and they can match a student to your needs.

We have a standard financial arrangement that we make with chefs and caterers, as we do pay the students a stipend for this work. We make an effort to ensure they are not taken advantage of; we know you will support this arrangement.
