Here’s to the Heroes

Episode 24: Terrific program about supporting veterans and first responders. Joining us on Ranch Cast is a group of luminaries who, every day, endeavor to help those folks who help us on our worst days.

Rick Allen and Lauren Monroe from Raven Drum Foundation share their extraordinary stories. Rick is, of course, the drummer for Def Leppard, who tragically lost an arm in the 1980s.

Salinas Police Chief Carlos Acosta and Fire Chief Samuel Klemek fill us in on the remarkable work the city is doing to support trauma victims.

My student cohost, Reuben, contributes a different generational perspective. This is a very important program.
We hope you enjoy it.
